
Alice LaCour is a former federal prosecutor and now a partner at Hilgers Graben PLLC. Alice is also the co-host of several true crime podcasts: The Prosecutors Podcast and Legal Briefs, which have been downloaded over 40 million times and featured on Apple Podcast's top 50 podcasts, and two A&E Network true crime podcasts. She has been a legal commentator on national TV, including appearing on 20/20.
Before joining Hilgers Graben, Alice served as Criminal Chief at the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Middle District of Alabama, where she prosecuted cases spanning from guns and drugs to complex white collar crimes. Alice also served in the Department of Justice as trial attorney in the Federal Programs Branch, Senior Advisor to the Assistant Attorney General of the Civil Division, and Counselor to the Attorney General. While at DOJ, Alice served on the confirmation teams to elevate Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court.
Her practice now centers on complex civil litigation, antitrust, and government investigations.
Alice received a J.D. from Yale Law School and a B.A. in Economics from Washington and Lee University. She clerked for the Hon. Keith Ellison on the Southern District of Texas and the Hon. Jennifer Elrod on the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
